Tomorrow my upper left molar will be extracted

Appearently I've had a chronic sinusitis for the past 5 years on the left side of my face. It was caused by an infected tooth that only got caught recently when it started abscessing. How will this change my face? I'm probaly getting an implant in a 5 year but i'm more interested in the chronic sinusitis part.

I have no idea. when i was 18 (5 years ago) I started having a foul smell in my nose, especially when bending down. progressed slowly to bad breathing out of my left nose over the years. then ct scan showed left maxilary sinus full of fluid from a tooth root. fucked up!

if it's of any consolation i have severe tooth decay and will most likely need mine taken out or at least a crown. i don't know how badly it affects your jaw tbh. I know that it causes the maxilla to recede a bit as loss of jawbone+teeth shift back.

perhaps the decrease in swelling from the infection/sinusitis going away can get me some aesthethic visuals
