★ TONGUE TO ROOF HOLD ★
Place the tip of your tongue behind your upper front teeth not touching them
Press the whole tongue against the roof of the mouth
Hold for 5 to 10 seconds
Repeat 10 times

> Builds strength and correct tongue posture
> Helps with clear S and T sounds

If you have braces use less pressure if your front teeth are sensitive

★ TONGUE STRETCH UP AND DOWN ★
Stick out your tongue and try to touch your nose
Then try to touch your chin
Hold each position for 5 seconds
Repeat 5 times

> Improves flexibility
> Makes pronunciation cleaner

★ PUSH AGAINST RESISTANCE ★
Push your tongue tip against a clean spoon or finger
Hold for 5 seconds
Repeat 5 to 10 times

> Builds tongue strength fast
> Great for correcting a lisp

Alternative: Press your tongue into the roof of your mouth if braces make spoon contact uncomfortable

★ TONGUE CLICKS ★
Make loud clicking sounds by pulling your tongue down from the roof of your mouth
Do this fast and strong for 15 seconds

> Good for tongue agility
> Easy to do anywhere

★ SPEAK CLEARLY ★
Say S Z SH CH sounds slowly and clearly
Then say A E I O U
Repeat each one 10 times
Use a mirror if possible

> Sharpens articulation
> Improves muscle memory when speaking

★ TONGUE SLIDES ★
Place your tongue at the front of the roof of your mouth
Slide it back slowly
Repeat 5 times

> Develops coordination and control of tongue positioning

★ LIP STRENGTH ★
Make a wide smile
Then form your lips like a kiss
Alternate 10 times

> Helps lip closure and airflow
> Supports better speech control

★ STRAW EXERCISE ★
Suck water through a straw
Then blow air out forcefully
Repeat 10 times

> Trains pressure control
> Activates full oral muscles

★ NASAL BREATHING ★
Sit still for 2 to 3 minutes
Mouth closed breathe only through nose
Keep tongue up on the palate

> Builds the foundation for correct rest posture
> Reduces open mouth habits

★ FINAL THOUGHTS ★
If you want better posture and clearer speech you need to train your tongue
Do it daily for 10 to 15 minutes
Even with braces it works
Stay consistent
You will notice a difference in just weeks
