tonsils affecting jawline

i have tonsillitis, like each one is the size of a fucking golf ball, but my gp refuses to have them removed. i was wondering if tonsils actually affect the jawline, cus i feel like they do. someone please clarify my doubts

thx, thats what im doing rn, got 4 out of the 7 inflammations per year that is required to remove them
