LISTEN UP YOU SWARTHOID ABUSED DOGS
Often I'll see mutts (mutts who are white mixed that is) whine about how they're both "too ethnic to be white" and "too white to be ethinc". Well sure I'll give you the first but the latter is an entirely fabricated problem. If you're half black then you're automatically registered as "a black person" by the general population (including by both blacks and non-blacks alike), if you're half curry then you're just a proud Brahmin North Indian, and so on.
The problem these mutts face isn't that they're too white, it's that they don't want to be associated with the ethnic umbrella for whatever reason, maybe out of some sense of superiority. Ethnics, especially ethnics with a heavily mixed genetic makeup (think African Americans, Indians, Arabs, Hispanics) tend to worship lighter skin and eurocentric features. They will claim you and put you on a pedestal for being mixed European. A light skin despite probably having a heavier European genetic makeup than African will still always just be a "light skinned black person", lightskin being a category many African Americans want to be a part of. Meanwhile white mixed with anything is no longer white with the only exceptions seeming to be admixture that's small enough to not be phenotypically noticeable (think Finns with Asian admixture so small it's barely worth considering, aside from the odd one or two cases of slightly Asiatic eyes most Finns don't look at all different from their Scandinavian or Russian neighbors). Whites will NOT clamour for someone who's half white, no matter how successful and claim them to be one of them (Obama despite being half black is famously "the first black US president" and you won't see ANY one claiming him to be white). The moment white is visibly mixed with anything they are NO LONGER white in their eyes. Juxtapose this with Blacks who will immediately rally behind celebs with any amount of noticeable black admixture and proudly call them black (think of any light skin celeb).
Comments like "you act white" or anything pertaining to one's white admixture are teasing at best, at the end of the day they WILL remind you that you are one of them. If anything such comments ARE to remind you that you are one of them, it's to reality slap you with the fact that you're in the same bucket of boiling crabs. They aren't a sign of "being too white" for a community, because all you have to do is compare this to whites who will outright DISOWN a mutt. There is no teasing about being "too ethnic", you're straight up no longer part of the family. Meanwhile ethnics will proudly cherry pick you and put you on a pedestal for being European mixed.

That's why you have a mountain of hapa abused dogs who can't seem to find a community to fit in though if one community were to worship them chances are it's going to be the Asian half rather than the White half.
