jesus christ. I took a dose of 500mg niacin (vitamin b3) on an empty stomach and had the most insane flush reaction. Felt like a sunburn from a thousand suns. Lasted for like 45 min. I had to hop in the shower lol. But it gives an insane red glow for the day. Just thought i'd share.

I take 2000 mg a day. 1000 mg in the morning, and 1000 mg in the afternoon. I'm used to it because I've been taking it since 2019.

Yes, but 500 mg isn't enough, I need at least 1000 mg to feel the flush. But thankfully after 1000 mg I didn't have to keep increasing it to get the flush.

Hopefully not after you increase it to 1000 mg like me. I've been on that dose for years without needing to increase it. But they say taking two days off every week will lower your tolerance again.
