took dmaa for the first time today. is this supposed to happen?

I took around 25mgs before the gym and i just got back home. my heart rate on average is 58bpm and about 20 mins after the gym its at 84bpm. I want to know if this is normal or am i not reacting well.

Maybe took a little too much, if it happens again take less and progressively increase the amount you take
