The training and certification exams can take anywhere from 3 months to 10 months.
If you do some research you can find paid for internships that will retain you to earn your certification and receive on job training also and potentially a long term full time job offer at the end of the internship.
These jobs can be fully remote. Therefore you can geomax and live for 1k a month in a dirt cheap country while you can work as a cloud engineer for a company based out of New York making over a quarter of a million dollars.
Pros:
1. Free or even paid for training.
2. Less than a year of training while you need 4 to 8 years of collage for most of your jobs.
3. Fully remote so you can Geo max and pay less in gas and car maintenance
4. Making exponentially more than all other degrees other than doctors but they have a million bucks in loans.
5. One can turn this job into a freelancing business or a business where you have employees that do your work for you and you manage the business.
Cons
1. High level of competition. Find a niche that has less competition.
2. AI will replace most these jobs within 10 years. Stay away from the developer side.
3. Normally requires a person with 110 plus IQ and high level of creativity. Typically most of these people are Asians, Caucasians or Jewish. There are some Nigerians and Indians that I've noticed
4. Sitting on your butt all day every day leading to loss of fitness and decreased longevity but there are ways around this.
