For real? Even a dumb little girl killing the most badass evil character lol

that's the worst part, i agree. you cant base the entire show on that white walkers buildup and then annihilate it in one low effort scene. everything else was perfect, though.

Oh srs i loved it from start to finish. Its in my favourites over other more objectively "better" shows but its a personal pick ik and i get the final seasons hate

I almost cried in the very ending where the music started playing, felt so emotional

it's great. i'd say it's mostly because multiple storylines were developed at the time

only insecure pseudo-normies have problems with admitting the show adresses all the human archetypes relevant in 2020 or so

I type slowly cuz i write through my laptop screens keyboard jfl.

At the battle of Winterfell episode i thought im witnessing the greatest thing television has ever produced up until the moment arya shown up which yeah was bad. But the tension buildup until that moment was so perfect to me and the music was amazing. Ive read there were some other technical and plot errors before that I didnt notice them that moment tbh. I was so hooked in that episode. Also didnt have a problem with the darkness to the point of saying "thats too dark" . Could be my casual - hyped GoT loving brain going into that episode. Still remember the chills when this masterpiece started playing and how everything seemed so ruined

cercei was great id expect a more personal ending with arya or sansa involving but the reunion with jaimy was ok. that ep was indeed a bit rushed but i still enjoyed it knewing itd be the last action heavy ep we get

episode where she blows the sept and daeny sailing to westeros with the dragons flying is 10/10

Breaking Bad always will be the GOAT and BCS second place

can't believe i forgot band of brothers. the cleanest show of all time, if it makes sense. a lot of it is owed to its theme (a class A product of the western propaganda), but it's still so effortlessly flawless

Just lol at Sherlock . Never watched the lost kingdom tho

it's carried hard by 2 main characters (sherlock and watson), but that's still 99.9th percentile production imo

the lost kingdom objectively doesn't belong to tier 1 of tv shows, but it's better than vikings

Nothing comes close to True Detective S01

I literally couldn't watch any other show after that. It's all bs.

career high for both mcconaughey and harrelson. specially mcconaughey, since that nihilistic type of character ends up looking overly edgy and forced 9/10 times on television

Exactly.

Incredible charisma from both - just two Southern chads with incredible bone density going at it. Very rare on screen chemistry that goes way beyond the usual buddy detective films.

Good writing. No political Hollywood propaganda, just based good vs evil plot with archaic elements.

Phenomenal directing and camera work with legit soundtrack.

Will probably watch it again some weekend.

yeah. tried season 2 (of true detective) and gave up after like 5 minutes because it was so obviously inferior to s1

the worst part about impressive movies/shows is that you remember 99% of the scenes after first watching, so it's impossible to get more pleasure from watching them over and over again

the only exception to this rule i've experienced came from re-watching titanic
