Pros? You can see significant benefits without risking side effects.
Cons? If your hair loss is progressing rapidly, this is almost certainly insufficient to halt it effectively.

It wont hurt but the efficasy might be pretty damn low, even for women it wouldnt make much difference, it was mogged heavily by 2% minox
