topical minoxidil has begun to sting

I’ve used topical minox for some months consistently and it has recently started to sting my eyebrows and leave a white cast a few hours after it’s been applied. I use oral minox as well so if I need to stop topical that’s fine but let me know if you’ve had something similar happen. liquid form
