which is better? i heard oral minoxidil has some pretty serious side effects, and will make you grow hair all over your body making you look like a gorilla. but someone also said that topical minoxidil is bullshit and doesn't work.

someone answer me nigga

Topical works, better for growing hair in one place

Oral minoxidil is more effective, side effects are also more serious but really only at high dosages. I'd know, I've tried both, still currently on oral minoxidil.

Topical works, for some, but for others it also isn't as effective. Topical worked for me but wasn't as effective as I'd liked it to be and takes a while to see results.

People mention cardiac-related side effects, which are possible at the dosages used to treat it for blood pressure but that's like 4-5x what you'd use for hair growth.

Anyway, we'll see how much of an effect it has on my heart since I get mine checked annually now.

How are your results now? Any sides? Thinking of hopping on oral minox soon

I've heard oral is better and it also promotes growth for facial hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, etc on top of hair
It's also effortless compared to topical which contains massive amounts of fucking alcohol. Foam is a bit better in that regard
But yeah more sides prob

Any news on this?

Foam is not better. Liquid is better because it uses propylene glycol as a vehicle instead of foam that uses alcohol.

You must have gotten this wrong. The liquid one is incredibly drying, when I used it it literally made my skin flake like not even .1% tretinoin did

i'm a pharmacist srs. I am not wrong on this. Foam is objectively more drying. Propylene glycol can cause allergic contact dermatitis in people that are sensitive to it but otherwise, it's fine.

No side effects thus far, and no heart palpitations either. New hair is just starting grow in now, started about 3 months ago.

Is oral worth? that shit seems way more expensive than topical minox.
