This is because regular topical minoxidil has to convert from minoxidil to minoxidil sulphate via the Sulfotransferase enzyme in the scalp. Some people do not have enough of it to be fully effective or effective at all. This formulation is minoxidil sulphate, which bypasses the need for this conversion, making everybody a responder.
