Topical Spironolactone (cream/gel) helps prevent acne & bad skin texture from steroid usage (researched). Guide on how to use at the end of the post.

Hello roidcels, today we are going to talk about topical spironolactone (and how to use it). This is a informational thread not some revolutionary new method (i'm pretty sure this info is already known jfl)

Topical Spironolactone is extremely effective and useful when on a steroid cycle, it counters androgenic side effects (acne, shit skin texture, anti aging) from steroids and promotes skin health¹
1741722200573
Oral Spironolactone also helps with hair loss from DHT (Dihydrotestosterone)³
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2972662/ ³

You can experiment with Oral Spironolactone for hairloss (Dutasteride / Finasteride is a overall better option)

Why topical?? Applying topical spironolactone to skin doesn't mess with your hormone levels. (Doesn't potentially nuke testosterone)²

Ok bhaicel but what to buy? Look for a prescription-grade topical spironolactone cream or gel (5% preferably but 2% works)

1. Clense your skin first (don't use a harsh one)
2. Apply a light drop that covers your entire face (dont use too much jfl)
3.
Apply once daily (recommended at night as part of your skincare). If you use it at daytime, use SPF to prevent skin damage
(Optional) Mix with your moisturizer (make sure in the ingredients list there is niacimide or ceramides to heal the skin barrier)

For hairloss? Maybe topical will work but it needs to be researched more.

I wouldn't recommend spironolactone for hairloss (needs to be studied and it fucks hormone levels). Use fin or dut

Many people say it stinks like a motherfucker.

Also reduces collagen synthesis (anything that blocks MR does that, Aldosterone is essential for collagen production through MR-mediated pathways) but since it's topical you can compensate with stuff like microneedling or retinoids.

Facial hair can be an issue (if you care about it), since T is essential for beard density and darkness and DHT is essential for linear growth and growth rate, but again there's trans women who are on the nastiest cocktail of anti androgens and estrogen agonizers who still get erections and beard growth.

not even playing on that last part lmao. I lost my fear of Dut after reading this one tweet from a tranny. i don't think i'll ever find it again but it was something like this

hair loss forums: I used finasteride for a month and my dick went limp i wanna kms
mtf communities: Help, I'm on Dutasteride, Spironolactone, Estradiol, Cyclosporine and I still get erections

It probably does combat acne, but it's unlikely to affect skin texture (positively), let alone bring any anti-aging effect.

Depends on each person (like most stuff)

It does combat acne, and rought skin texture from roids. It can also get rid of some wrinkles by applying the topical gel to it

Do you think it's possible to make it yourself considering how much easier it is to source the pills?

Making a topical cream from the pills wouldn't really be effective

I will look for a good source soon and link it in the thread
