I haven't been able to grow like at all in the gym despite going consistently for over 3 years. I'm 6'0 and 162 lb, about 12-13% bf i'd estimate. Its crazy seeing my peers in the gym grow over the same period while i've pretty much made no noticeable change. The craziest part is I had a good base before starting the gym because I grew up doing gymnastics, I was already well built for my age and was one of the bigger guys at my gym (male gymnasts are usually pretty skinny until post college), so i assumed I had good genetics for building muscle, but clearly that isnt the case. I weigh slightly less now at 22 than i did at 15 when I stopped. I'm ready to hop on some shit like var and mk but I can't really afford it now, so I gotta keep going through the motions for probably another year pretending I like doing ts.
Worst part is that I absolutely get stronger. Got my DL up to 365 for 6 and leg press up to 4x8 at 8 plates/side and when I told my buddy that he actually double took at my legs in disbelief.
