U have to stay calm and cut the shift into multiple pieces so you don't get overwhelmed. For example my shift start with 2 hours of nothing then 2 hours serving food and dessert and then final phase where not a lot happen. I try to take it step by step. It's like a reward system where you feel about finishing each part.
