I've been day trading for the past two years and gained a lot of experience along the way. I’d like to share what I’ve learned with the community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to provide helpful answers.

Is trading one timeframe more optimal than others? (15m,D,1H,etc.) Am I wasting my time on forex and should I transition to futures?

Are you profitable?

If you only trade one timeframe, you’re at a major disadvantage because you’re seeing much less data than everyone else. Personally, I trade futures they're honestly the best way to go

You should always use two timeframes: a Higher Timeframe (HTF) for context and a Lower Timeframe (LTF) for your entry. I personally use ICT timeframe alignments, which you should definitely check out. For example:

  • 15m (HTF) / 1m (LTF)
  • 1h (HTF) / 5m (LTF)
  • 4h (HTF) / 15m (LTF)

ICT is not gonna make you profitable bro, no studies or backtest prove it
