Im talking about day trading, stocks and crypto.

I know nothing about it but I know people literally go insane after months of just trying.

Takes a level of self control and patience that most won’t ever get to in their life.

Also you need hella experience, years and years, but I think it’s the best way to make money.

No need for a business or to stress about employees, you just hop on you pc, trade, make 100k in 2 hours and don’t work for the rest of the month. Mogs.

I totally respect them too, you need an insane amount of consistency and information and to be super stoic when trading.

I would be able to do it but it would take me years and I would lose all my hair tbh.

I know nothing but I’ve been watching TJR and he gives some good sauce, you could even start with a funded account tbh

Trading is very naive, some people can make tons of money, but the majority of people can't and will in fact lose money, furthermore, starting a business is 1000% better than trading. If you're a very good trader maybe initially you'll earn more and with less stress than a business owner, but if we're comparing a trader and entrepreneur of equal levels of skills down the road the entrepreneur will be much better than the trader, simply a business is scalable, since it has actual leverage, trading doesn't.

Very true I agree, but if you don’t really care about overall business skills (running a business, managing customers and employees) and if you don’t care about leveraging its fine.

I would be happy to make 300k a month with 5/6 trades per month and do nothing the rest of my days just watching news.

Im not talking about the 99%, also depends on the leverage you are using and how much money you are gambling

Yeah, I guess, if you're willing to give it a shot then go for it, but there's a reason why not everyone does trading, and you explained it perfectly in your post. Trading is hard, really it is closer to gambling that having an actual, even the most experienced traders lose a shit ton of money, if they fail a lot, imagine what happens to the average guy who has zero experience in the subject? Trading has been sold like a miracle solution, the thing that'll make you rich, but if it worked as well as people claimed, everyone would be doing it. But that's just a product of survivorship bias

Not saying you guys can't succeed, but the human ego can sometimes be blinding, leading to believe we're better than we actually are, that we're the main character, when in reality we're nothing but another statistic. If I were you, I'd spend my time developing other, more useful skills that are actually guaranteed to make me money, and don't rely on basically gambling all the time and hoping I win. That's just a suggestion tho, do what your heart desires

Self control and patience for sure.

Counter intuitive thinking is often helpful too. Along with systems thinking.

The cool thing about trading is that, if you can run a trading operation without needing to manage cashflows for personal or business liquidity reasons, you can make a killing by taking advantage of fat tail trades with constant refinement of your system, i.e., risk management, position sizing as a % of bankroll, cross trading uncorrelated markets, and generally just backtesting on CLEAN historic futures data.

If you've no investors and no obligation to write up performance reports for clients, you can literally trade for yourself, and really go for the outlier trades.

Compound your home runs. Cut short your losses, let your winners run on.

First off. e-commerce is truly a saturated market.

Second, what do you want out of your life? What is "success" for you? In order to figure out what options do you have to get to the destination, you first need to know what the destination is. Do you wanna be rich as hell, living in a ski resort or something and giving each of your 10 kids a 10 million dollar trust fund, or do you just want financial freedom and being able to help your family? Maybe you want none of that and want to be better than the average making decent money to afford yourself a yearly vacation, support a family and not stress too much?

Fair enough, at 16 I think there are two highly valuable skills you should learn that will basically secure you make money now, or in the future. And that is social media or coding. You choose, ideally learn both, why?

Coding is basically the future, AI will soon replace all of us, everyone except software engineers and computer scientists because they're still going to need us for a while until their ability to write code themselves becomes good enough. Majority of major businesses today and in the future will be built around tech, so being able to create your own products is the best way to begin with without having to bootstrap.

But maybe you're not into coding (what a shame), then just do social media. Again, 99% of major businesses today are being built around social media, even if you're creating a SaaS starting a social media is the easiest way to distribute a product.

How can this make you money now, you may ask? Well obviously, you can get freelancing jobs in coding, most software development jobs I've done paid really well. Same for social media, you obviously can make money (given enough time and consistency) through views or sponsorships.

These are not "get rich quick options", but truly those don't exist to begin with. The path to money is long, hard and requires useful skills, not dropshipping lmao. These skills are somewhat fun to build, you will carry them for the rest of your life, and knowing them will help your professional career later on. The earlier you start, the better your chances are later on

Yeah no problem, but social media and coding are just what I personally think is the most useful, but maybe you have other interests, my main advice is:

1. Don't fall for bullshit solutions that are high-risk, you have 4k dollars, you do not want to lose it all for absolutely nothing. Spend your money, invest it in low-return options that you can hold for years to some, buy a book, buy a quality course, get a certification, maybe do a high-risk investment if you truly believe on it. But do not gamble your money away, don't do it now, don't do it later, don't do it ever. Try also avoid saturated markets, if everyone on TikTok and their grandma are talking about it, it's probably not worth your time.

2. Skills are the most valuable thing you can have, it doesn't matter the skill, there's no downside to learning a new skill because they will ALWAYS be useful and make you more valuable in the market. You're young, you have a lot of time to build skills, so please don't waste that time, become valuable now, and enjoy the results later. If you are interested in any technical area, spend 1-3 months learning that thing and see if you like it, even if you don't then at least you know yourself better and know the basics of the skill.

So yeah, be wise with money and learn skills. Advice I wish someone would've told me a couple years earlier.

You seem knowledgeable. What would you recommend to make money (I already have a job but I want to make more)

I want to retire my family 😢

Retiring your family more of then than not requires "fuck you money"

And that requires business success and a lot of sacrifice. What are you working in (if you'd like to share that)? Did you go to college or are you in college? Do you think you have any valuable skill?

Currently studying for cybersecurity/IT bachelor. Also studying for my certifications. But I still have the desire to make "fuck you money" and I feel like im losing time. Also a recent breakup is giving me even more ambition to make money I just have no way to channel it lol

Made almost 300% on Palantir in my first trade, just find good traders online and pay for the courses, study finance, the company profile, ratios etc, IQ increase to at least 115.
