If you've got a somewhat wide face, or strong, wide cheekbones, lower third, etc. training your neck to be about as wide as your widest part of your jaw is such an easy, straightforward looksmax.

I don't think the pics do it justice, tbh, it's definitely a noticeable change when looking in the mirror.

I've known it for years, but it took me a while to actually train it consistently and long enough to see it grow and now that I have, I can't believe I didn't do this early lol. Easy 0.2-0.3 PSL increase, as it makes my entire face look more proportional, more masculine, and generally just better looking.

I only train the sides, as I've heard training the front (or back) could cause sleep apnea issue (maybe it compresses your air way). Here's a video with more info:

The sides are what matter most anyway, and I've experienced no adverse side effects from it.

I basically do this for 3 sets, and 12-15 reps, 2x-3x a week:

Basically, train your neck boyos, unless you were naturally already blessed with a thick neck

When you feel an urge to bring other people down or intentionally say something mean (Outside of the context of banter of course) on internet forums, this is because you are likely experiencing some form of self hatred or insecurity and subconsciously want to pull somebody down to your level so that you can "relate" to them better. This is a form of social equilibrium human brains are wired to seek at all times.

This isn't the case 100% of the time but more so 95-97%.

No, the front and back aren't crucial to the look we want to achieve, we basically just want to make the neck wider.

I suppose training the back might give you bigger upper traps if you want that as well. Only training the sides reduces the risk of getting sleep apnea, I think.

Sleep apnea can be caused by multiple things, if you're recessed as well, but I don't think you wanna increase your likelihood of developing it or worsening it

I did it on and off for years, where I'd do it maybe for a week or two, saw little to no changes
Now I've been doing it consistently, 2-3x a week since about October and the changes are profound.
For the little effort you've gotta put in, it's a very effective softmax

Yes, three sets is enough, maybe you could even get away with 2, the neck isn't something that's usually exposed to stress like this so it'll grow easily

Make your case
Most women of quality and self respect will be turned off as soon as you open your mouth if your personality stinks (too full of yourself is a common one). These kinds of women are very used to seeing very attractive guys but they value intelligence and brains so they will not simp for you.

Low quality women that open their legs for any Chad, your signature would be correct and true.

The reason I told the man his post was funny was because I am a human and I have a desire to make people feel good when they make me feel good. I wanted to give him the approval of his joke being funny because everybody likes approval. It is one of the most straight forward mechanisms to bond with other humans.

It was less of a "good job peasant, you made me laugh" and more of a "bro that shit was funny has hell LMAO".

When people tell you your joke was funny IRL after you make one, you instantly laugh and smile. You can't help it.

Also I'm not wrong. You likely are hyper aware of things that are "cringe" because you yourself are or were a victim of being "cringe" in your RL interactions. Most likely influenced by your peers during your time in school or if you are currently in school.

In today’s world, looks matter more than ever. Between constant hookup opportunities and everyone swiping based on photos alone, most people won’t get far enough to discover your personality before judging—and discarding—you.

Modern society is hedonistic and hyper-individualistic, so whether you’re on a dating app or just meeting someone briefly at a bar, appearances rule. It’s not that every single person is shallow, but the sheer volume of quick, casual interactions means you’re often evaluated and remembered for your face and body, nothing else.

Even so-called ‘quality’ women see attractive men all the time, which only raises the bar further. Sure, having a horrible personality can undermine you eventually, but most people won’t ever know the difference because they’ll move on the moment they sense anything less than physical appeal that meets their standard.

It’s naive to think only ‘low-quality’ partners care about looks—this culture of instant gratification and endless options means almost everyone makes snap judgments first.

A strong, captivating physical presence is the key that unlocks any deeper interest, if it even gets that far. You can work on your personality, but without that initial spark of visual attraction, you never get a chance to show it off.

Ultimately I agree with everything you said here. However there is a slight nuance I'd like to add.

First off all, let's assume a quality woman is defined as a woman not looking to just smash chads but looking for a serious relationship and brings something of value to the table.

As long as you are at least a MTN+, you look good enough to hold the attention of a "quality" woman if you have intelligence, a distinct personality, sense of humor, humility, confidence etc etc.

If you are LTN+ and below, I believe you are definitely way more subject to being gatekept from allowing your personality to shine through like you're saying. You likely won't even get their attention in the first place. Hard agree here.

MTNs are kinda in between.

I'd also like to mention from speaking with a lot of women, super attractive men are more shallow, vain and have unappealing personalities more often than we'd like to think. Super attractive men are also more difficult to tie down and hubby up which can make them more unappealing for a long term relationship (This is assuming the woman in question isn't looks matching the man).

At the end of the day, your signature I think it's mostly true but a mouth can be extremely powerful if you are MTN at minimum. For the purpose of a signature being short and sweet (inherently lacking nuance), it checks out, but it's important to realize there is such nuance to that statement. I'm only nitpicking just because I love discussing things like this.

It deepens voice aswell.
I should hold back on training the front though cause it makes u look less forward grown.

There’s no such thing as side neck training JFL.

To put it in a very simple way, the neck has a muscle at each corner and they are activated in different combinations for different movements. Yeah I know there are more muscles but the SCM and the traps are the big show ones.

Both on a side: tilt head
Both front or both back: lower or raise chin
Diagonal: turn head

So ANY neck training will actually give the same results as it will hit all 4 muscles.

I'm not going to impulsively disagree with you. It is possible I could have a complex. to some degree. I could potentially be lying to myself by giving you that bs response. Thanks for opening my eyes up to this. I would have to spend more time learning who my ego is and what he wants out of life before I can assume things about my psyche.

Side neck training does exist, it’s just lateral flexion, like tilting your head side to side. Yes, most neck movements activate multiple muscles but specific exercises emphasize certain areas more.
Lateral flexion mainly targets the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) and scalenes, which isn’t the same as front/back movements that hit the traps or deeper neck stabilizers.

Saying ‘all neck training is the same’ oversimplifies things; targeted exercises are a real thing, just like in any other muscle group.

You're right, neck curls do hit the SCM pretty well, especially during flexion.
But my main goal is to grow the sides of my neck for width, so neck curls aren't strictly necessary. Side-specific exercises, like lateral neck flexion, are more targeted and safer for achieving that width without putting undue strain on my spine.
The video I linked emphasizes that front/back neck movements could lead to issues like uneven neck development or sleep apnea, which are risks to consider. So to minimize these problems I stuck to side movements, which still give me the aesthetic benefits I want.

The SCM is the main target, as long as you’re hitting it I think it’s down to personal preference more than anything. You worry about sleep apnea so you do side curls, my neck makes horrible noises when I do that so I do front curls.

Yes, but I took it slow since the neck will grow even with light weights, and 5kg -> 10kg is too big of a gap, so that forced me to do 7.5kg but that's two plates which makes it a bit harder. Or you could increase the volume, whilst using the same weight, I did that too.
