WIth this technology being below human baseline would be a choice. An uploaded mind could expand far beyond the limits of biological mind. Imagine having the capacity to engineer, design and operate thousands of artificial avatars equipped with sensors that surpassed human senses by an order of magnitude. You could become a literal god. You can transfer it. What you do is have a tendril connect to a neuron, scan it, copy it, simulate it and then replace the connections. You would actually not even notice being uploaded if it is done right. You would use the computer simulated neurons the same way you use your original neurons. Remember your consciousness is being transferred from atom to atom every second.

I know nothing about this but isn't that similar to the idea of the boat getting all it's parts replaced over time; is it really the same boat? I know this is old but what do you think about transferring consciousness from one human to another, eg : we create a clone of chad, wait for it to grow up 5-6 years and then transfer our mind? Only downfall is you have to wait to grow up but atleast you’ll be in real world I don’t think many people would like to transfer them to a computer so there’s no point

Eugenics would be only for the rich and as you know most of the pretty people have better chance to be in the higher class, it's gonna be worse.
