had 3100 grafts put onto my previous thin ass hair transplant. 2 days later its finally making those little bubbles u see on the post op pics. how does the density look? you guys think i'll be able to have long hair without it looking shitty?

Thanks. it looks a little thinner to me compared to most good results, but i already hsd some hair to begin with there, and this new technique left less graft swelling so maybe theres just more natural skin showing

but yeah its definitely been a productive couple months

i forget what he called it. i think the extraction was fue, but then to put the hair in they didnt do that normal thing where they cut and x and slide it in. they loaded some type of pen with grafts and theyd kinda shoot it down into the skin. the donor area was shaved, but i got to keep it long on top. so it'll look decent way sooner

I personally think there's a lot of multigrafts in the hairline also not very dense cm2, looking like 30-45cm2. The punch sizes also look really big.
I'm really hoping you get a good result from this however.
Was it done by technicians, machine? FUE? Sapphire blade? Curious.

That line from temple to temple is a sign of 3-5 hairs clustering with each other. It could yield a pluggy/barbie look.
Here's my hairline, compare the density and first rows.

the hairline is almost all single hair. i agree the top density looks on the thinner side, but the hair on the back of my head is thick as hell and all like 4 hairs per graft. and i already had mild density there from the last transplant so you gotta consider that. we'll see i guess, im optimistic.

Nah don't lose hope. Most of those grafts were strategically placed by the looks of things to increase density around pre-existing hairs.
If my intuition is wrong then the first row would look great with those single grafted hairs... but if they didn't splice up the 3-5 hair follicles I'd be more concerned of the aesthetic results. It will surely frame your face better in the long run and as you've pointed out you don't really mind the sort of artificial end result.

im guessing partial :/ he said hed do it for free since he could reuse some incisions hed already be doing. afterwards i asked him how much there was he said 2-3cc's. giving me a liquid representation makes me think he lipod it or something rather than excised a chunk. but whatevs i prob didnt even need it.

but yeah it doesnt even make since for my cheeks to be this shadowed. im looking it it around light sources and i dont get how these tiny tiny millimeters cause such a huge different in light and dark.

most decent surgeons would overlap the existing hair i think. this was especially easy with the DHI method they used on mine
