Traveling with Reta

I’m traveling back to college with my vial of Reta. I got a cheap insulin travel case but since it’s a 12 hour drive it was room temp for about 4 hours. How do I know if the vial is still safe? Also my parents would kill me if they knew o was injecting stuff so that’s why I couldn’t put it in a cooler or smth
