It's Giga-cope. OP of this thread gave good advice on what to do - lift, make money, socialize, etc. - but OP didn't give good advice on how to have the right mindset.
He basically told people to detach themselves emotionally from life. Kill your ego, don't feel the pain when you fail, just treat it as a videogame and continue until you succeed. But such a mindset will lead to disaster. You want to kill your ego? Don't feel anything? Congratulations, you won't feel anything anymore - even when you achieve your goals, you won't feel joy. You won't feel anything. You are now a person who only thinks rational and has no emotions.
That's absurd because you only want to achieve goals because they will make you FEEL GOOD. What's the point of achieving goals when you won't feel joy afterwards? You might as well stop having goals now. And no, it's NOT possible to only detach yourself from negative feelings while still having positive feelings. This is not how the brain works. If you accept emotions, you will have them all. Meaning, you will feel sadness, anger, shame and regret if you fail.
What's the alternative? There is only one: EMBRACE THE FEELINGS. Don't become a stoic. When something good happens, enjoy it. And when something bad happens ... don't ignore it as if it would be a videogame. Instead, face the pain. Don't fight it. If you had something really bad happening to you that is destroying your mind, you must go through the STAGES OF GRIEF. Only then you will be able to move on and feel joy in the future after you achieved new goals - you will win in life.
Life is actually not a videogame. Because you can't log off, or at least not more than once. Therefore, it is very serious. You have to succeed the first time, there is no second chance.

Treat Success Like A Video Game
Life is simply a video game where you can't give up and log off. The R&G (randomness element) is brutal. You might be born as a 1 PSL orphan in an underdeveloped, wartorn nation. You might be born in NYC to two loving, wealthy parents, whose genetics afforded you 7 PSL and 120 IQ. Whatever...
