Trendhopping vs Nichemaxxing

A Few of you have called me a poser, and i’d like to thoroughly explain what was meant by niche. And distance trendhopping from nichemaxxing

I’ll put it simply, trendhopping has to do with what is mainstream/obscure within the mainstream. And you do not create within this system, you only absorb aesthetics and beliefs mindlessly. There’s no actual “self” here seeing as trendhoppers will absorb the trends and make it part of their real self instead of using niches to change how their self is to be perceived. These trendhoppers stick to these niches for months and or years

Being niched out simply means to constantly shapeshift Aesthetics with the purpose of changing how your image is felt by other human beings. For a niche to be part of ‘you’ to the point as to where you change your real beliefs in accordance to niche only makes you a trendhopper. Nothing should be above your level of thought, everything that is niche has to be below you so it can be used in a more ironic way whilst still serious.

In short terms; trendhoppers will try to be their niche. Niche faggs will use niche as a tool more than one’s own identity

Agreed but nichemaxxing is S tier in society and you can't change it, every normal niche seems interesting to foids

My idea of niche is different from what it means within this space and also the word itself. I could explain it in simpler terms but then it’d come off completely illogical. Even now it is, since it doesnt fit into what is commonly used for

People that actively conform to a niche because they like the clothing are so fucking corny imo
