Anyone using tret and self tanner

You just have to apply the tanner more often, or any other thing to keep in mind?

What do you mean a self-tanner? As in a fake topical tan? And why would you need to apply the tanner more often?

If you’re going in the sun on a retinoid, make sure you wear a good SPF everyday.

i used tazarotene and self tanner together and my tan literally was starting to peel off by day 2 and completely peeled off by day 3
but i think if your skin gets used to the tazarotene and doesnt peel as much it hopefully wouldnt be as much of a problem
as least im praying this is the case

Duh. But that doesn’t explain what a self-tanner is to me. Is it the fake tan you apply topically, or does it make you more prone to tanning in the sun? That is a very critical difference.

So he means the topical fake tan then? If so, just carry on with tretinoin and just ensure you wear suncream every single time you want to go anywhere near sunlight.
