so derms gate it

red marks are usually PIH so azealic acid and sunscreen + time
for real scars its procedures not creams

why would i listen when she recommends me 1 billion products to buy and they r all some random cleansers and moisturizers and shit
the only thing that she recommended that somehwat made sense was niacinamide
i aint tryna spend allat
my scars arent the deepest and tbh idek if they are scars i mostly just fraud with tinted sunscreen jfl

derms love productmaxxing because it's easy and safe

cleansers and moisturizers make up a lot of ur skin care and u need to have a good routine but won't fix scars or pigment they just maintain
niacinamide is fine but it's side support not a main fix

i js had acne for a long time and only now its calmed down but there is scars or pigmentation idk, i barely get pimples now
not too noticable but still fucking anoying

yeah but here's a quick ish answer first to not overthink

if acne is gone and what's left is
-the red/brown marks that fade = pigmentation (PIH)
-dents or texture = usually real scars

PIH u should ask about azelatic acid and use with sunscreen and be patient
scars creams wont fix need microneedling/laser later

dont try nuking ur face now that acne is calmed
maintenance is better than panic

you can pm if you want but that's the core of it i never had serious acne before
