I’ve been on tret 0.05 for an about a month now and my acne is still the same like I get less breakouts but my old acne scarring is still there but my skin is smoother. How long would it take to get clear skin theoretically? Should I just ask my doctor for accutane?

Tret barely helps with acne, for scarring it depends but it can take up to more than a year

yea try to hop on acuttane it isnt even that expensive and you can start with 20-40 mg

I’m tryna get clear skin by October so I have time ill stay on Tret for a bit

Tret takes little time to show results. I am using tretiwell from skinorac for almost a year now and it took me 3 months to start seeing some results after purging and all. But the wait is worth.
