usually when your skin gets oily after using tret, its because youre not moisturizing enough after using. but if you just started it could be normal

The 'oily' look is probably not actually oily skin but what high collagen, smooth skin looks like (glowy/reflective). You can try using a mattifying moisturiser and/or mattifying sunscreen to reduce the effect.

ur skin isint used to ur pores shrinking so they try to combat it by producing more oil it’s only for a short time tho, also do it w a few days off like every other day to calm ur skin down
