I've been using tretinoin 0.05% for only two weeks (I’ve applied it three times), and many people are already saying that my skin looks much better than before.

However, today I didn’t apply enough SPF on my chin, and my skin feels a bit dry, but not too much.

By the way, my skincare routine is:

  • For an average day: Cleanser, moisturizer, SPF.
  • Every three days: Cleanser, moisturizer, tretinoin, and Vaseline (I apply Vaseline on my lips and eyebrows to protect them while using tretinoin).

If anyone has questions or recommendations, feel free to comment!

thinking about getting tretinoin because over the counter retinols suck. Annoying how I have to get a prescription from a dermatologist

I got tret from egipt, and it is based asf for now. If it will end I will buy it from olx or I will find site for this. There are many posts about where you can buy it without prescription

do ur eyebrows get dry too?

Tret is a gem product, I have been using it for acne and gay glow for sometime from skinorac and its worth the hype

tret is really harsh on the skin! not saying if you have acne you shouldn't use it but if your acne clears up and you only really have blemishes try a skincare routine that's more for anti-aging/etc. just invest in a good moisturizer and cleanser!

what site you buy it from, am not buying from an indian online mart

Ive read 100 horror stories of ppl saying that it will give u what’s so called a “purge” at the start. Is it true? (I don’t have acne)

Oh, thanks for explaining

It’s risky taking it long term but it indeed provides very fast and significant results.
Took it for years due to very aggressive seborrhoea (with strong inflammation) and my lips and eyes have become permanently dry in consequence.
Skin quality was insane though during that time span

Sad to hear, how old are you and how many years did you use it? I used it literally 3 times and my skin under eyes is soo dry. Do you really regret using it and don’t recommend it to others? Or do you have these dry symptoms because of “aggressive seborrhoea“

I found tret somehow in my house from Egypt.

Just started yesterday. I don’t have a skincare so im cucked

SPF is a must, with or without tret. I use the spf 50+ from la roche posay and its great along with my tret routine from skinorac
