Should I combine this with azelaic acid as I heard it can cause irritation and flaking.

Also should I put moisturizer (Vaseline) then tretinoin and moisturizer again to avoid damaging my skin barrier

Took me hoops and searching to find a source without the online consultation bs

start slow 2-3 a week if you have never took retinols. Wash your face with water than put tret on , wait for half a hours to an hour and then put a moisturizer on

Ease into it gradually. Start with about twice a week since you’re starting off with 0.05% concentration.

Are you prone to dry skin? You could consider using a hydrating moisturiser after application.
