Most derms/gps etc are extremely cucked and bluepilled. They probably wont give you accutane unless your acne is brutal.

Accutane is fear mongered to death in the medical community and they dont want to catch lawsuits prescribing it for mild cases of acne/skin conditions.

Unfortunately for most of the polypharmacy we do for looksmaxing, youre going to need to learn to source your stuff from overseas or in the grey market.

just it is, tried adapalene like 6 months ago for 4 months, made my skin pretty bad, got persribed tretinoin and it hasnt done shit.

Then yeah tell your derm that nothing is working and they’ll most likely prescribe you accutane and if they dont tell them to kill themselves

It takes a long time for you to see good results on tretinoin. I started on 0.025 and just recently got to 0.05 after about a year. I'm just starting to see benefits after consistently doing it for a year.

Keep using it. I'm assuming you've used it for two months or so? It takes longer than that. You probably already know this but you gotta start off applying it maybe 3x a week max. By the time it's been 2 months (assuming you've been applying only 3x a week) then you haven't really applied it much. On top of that, you're probably also using a lower dosage to start off.

Give it more time. I'm only starting to see results after about a year.

Its just the second topical that gas made my acne only worse + i’ve been getting backne, also my parents bad bad acne growing up so isotretinoin mogs to shreds

Stop using garbage topical retinoids, buy Isotretinoin and start with small semi-frequent dosages, up your dosage once your body gets used to it.

hm weird, im on tret rn and i started off with mild acne, i started shedding within the first week and it lasted until the 3rd week. After that it started purging and rn im on the last week of purging with very few new spots forming. Id say defo talk to your dermo about the timeline and seeing no progress, mention how its only making ur skin oilier which is strange bcs its supposed to make it fucking dry as shit in the first few weeks. Antibiotics didnt work for me at all so I started using a supplement from Holland And Barret called 'Acne Relief Tablets', probally gave me the biggest difference but its takes like a week or 2 to see real improvment. Id defo recogmend it until u can get ur hands on acutane. Also instead of using tret cream, maybe ask your derma for Treclin Gel which would contain topical antibiotics which would reduce inflamation alot so the acne isnt as visible until ofc u get acuttane. Gl man, acne sucks

im using the gel w some topical antibiotic (clindamycin) and she literally told me to stop using it and gave me some over the counter bs cream jfl, im going to a different derm and asking for accutane

Nigga mine too. Be patient because the oiliness will improve with time. Now if tret doesn't do anything for a whole 6 months, then get on accutane. But patience is non-negotiable when you're on tretinoin. If you're impatient, then you shouldn't have started
