Tretinoin or Accutane?

My face has recently been at its worst, my diet is clean and i’m on a skincare plan and
it does NOT work. I change my pillowcases often and do everything I can to fix my acne but I’m almost positive it’s just hormonal. I was gonna go on tretinoin because it’s the cheaper option, I live in canada and don’t have insurance for accutane and it’s way too expensive for me. Will tretinoin clear my
skin the same? I have texture on my
skin with lots of blackheads and whiteheads (I think) just closes comedomes
