Why aren’t more people pushing tretinoin? It’s a fast solution for acne. I remember myself having great results from using tretinoin. I had severe acne, I’m 20 now, and I have no scars.

The thing is if you stop using it your acne immediately rushes back in days. Accutane is better because it doesn't return after you stop your treatment

Tretinoin is more worth it if you have very severe acne. It’s very helpful against scars that can be caused by acne.

quiet little grey, it's common knowledge that accutane is far superior for severe acne while tretinoin is good for mild acne and collagen, also tretinoin isn't fast, it's one of the slowest drugs for fixing skin, but it works well in a long term disciplined routine.

It’s only so so for acne, accutaine is much better. It can work but don’t confuse the results you got with results most people get.

it can prevent future breakouts and fix mild pimples and stuff like that, for acne accutane is the real king, then after finishing with medication use tret for lifetime.
simple as that.

It can also increase acne…. It was the gold standard for acne treatment in the 1950s it’s almost never used for that anymore, they generally don’t even rx it before iso. Theres reasons for that.

You use treat for a lifetime sure but none of it has to do with acne prevention. You shouldn’t have acne after accutane.
