Tretinoin (PLEASE READ)

So ive been using tretinoin 0,05% for around 3 months and i barely see any progress with it. And yes I am using it correctly and i know a lot about it but it just doesnt seem to fix my acne. But before tretinoin i used some gel that on 1g of gel had 1mg of adapalene and 25mg of benzoyl peroxide and for about 3 weeks of using it, it started to turn my acne little bit pink (they were more red before) and they actually looked better. And i dont know should i get back on it cuz i still have both tretinoin and that gel. Tbh i feel like tretinoin is kinda getting overrated for acne, i think its much better for older people but lmk

my advice is switch back to adapalene + bp gel. I don't think you should keep doing tret tbh if it doesn't change anything

Yea i thought about that too for some time but i may switch back, if i do ill mark it as solution but still need yall opinions

consider taz 1% + azelic acid. if this does nothing you've reached the end of what can help your face "cream" wise. start considering accutane

Tret is verry overrated for acne it is very good for anti aging but for acne it is overrated unless you get high concentration or accutane, what worked for my acne was aside from over the counter retinoids was spf of all things your skin needs time to fix the acne and shit but when there is constant uv on the acne the process Thales whey longer, so if you dont already do please use spf

I do dw but i dont think my parents would allow me to get accutane, and no i dont need indiamart ik where to get it but im not sure about it idk, that gel actually helped me a lot in short period

Benzy perioxide also cleared my acne a little bit but never got it away 100% i did get outbreaks from it, but just visit your derma and let him prescribed you something i dont no where you are based but try to get something like azailic acid out of that mf

I have it alr lol, but i think i should get back onto that gel and i have one cream that just like dries your acne and its used more for babies and that shit but it actually dries acne, and use it when im not using thah gel. And once i dont have active acne im gonna start derma stamping and i alr have a derma stamp but i only used it once cuz i still have acne to fix before
