1) I want to get on tret ASAP for my wrinkles, but my sport keeps me in the sun for 9+ hours on competition days. Those will be nearly every weekend in March through May. Should I even bother with Tret? I'm not sure SPF 9000 will be enough, given how sun-averse tretcels are supposed to be. Wut do?

2) The "good" tret results for males all make them look like homos. I would settle for "decent" results if I didn't shine. Prepubescent me had perfect skin that did not double as a reflective surface. Is it really a choice between looking like a fag and looking old? Wut do?

Also, to the extent it matters, I'm a black irish-cel: 99% euro but very tan skin naturally.

1) just use SPF50 and renew it every 3 hours : it's just that simple
2) Gay glow is kind of real but I think it mogs, having a glass clear skin is way better than being an acnecel. My skin is glowing the most after exfoliating though. You could use a mattifying moisturizer to combat the glow if you're that worried about it.

1) Thanks, brah.

2) Appreciate the input. I don't get acne even when I'm doing my testosterone + masteron cycle, so being an acnecel isn't an issue for me. I've always looked youthful, and was mistaken for a college student multiple times last spring whilst competing (I'm 38). But the wrinkles are starting to catch up and I want to resist as much as I can. I guess I can use the mattifying moisturizer.

Also, I don't want my wife to notice me using too many products, so this whole thing may be silly if I keep having to pile on creams.

I think everyone's reaction to tret is fairly individual. I've been using it for 14 months and my skin still peels like fuck even when I use moisturiser and emollient oils (similar to vaseline) before and after applying tret respectively.

Most people build up tolerance quickly to it though, so you may not need to be applying too many moisturisers and creams in conjunction with tret after the first couple of months. The most important thing is to start off on 0.25mg/g strength and then move up in strength if you feel it's necessary.

However, studies have shown that the only advantage of the stronger concentrations is that they are more effective in preventing acne. If you are purely interested in stimulating collagen production, then you can just stick with 0.25mg/g and never move up in strength and thus avoid a lot of the peeling/irritation.

Also, tret is available in both gel and cream forms. My own impression is that only the gel one gives the gay glow whereas the cream form gives a less uncanny improvement. But that's just my feeling, no evidence for it.

Thank you, Mr. Funke.

Id rather take the glow than old wrinkly skin tbh

tret + excessive sun exposure = guaranteed skin cancer

Tret helps with fine lines and skin resurfacing, not wrinkles. This isn’t filler and Botox.

you need to use Botox to neutralize the muscles in those areas as over time those fine lines become bigger creases. start off with baby tox / microtox and as you see them reappear you move on to Botox treatment if baby too isn’t strong enough as it’s basically Botox used with a dermastamp or roller you will need to go for injections.

reapply sunscreen

yes to tret no shit
- don't need to use more than a few times a week anyway

don't need too many products

Won’t be able to get Botox without wife noticing and thinking I’m (a) cheating on her, or (b) a queer.

Do you live for your wife ?

Who cares about she thinks ? What will happen if she decides to leave and you look like shit ? Finding her replacement will be a complete ordeal.

Do it for you and no one else.

There are sunscreens that last a really long time, two are evy spf 50 which in tests could last 8 hours and p20, although using tret reapplying at least halfway through would be ideal.
