Should I use vaseline to lock in moisture while on tret?
The peeling and itching from dryness is starting and i used vaseline once and my skin didnt dry at all, is this a good or bad idea?

Use moisturizer not Vaseline I used based personally just bc i got as a gift a while ago and it works well so I buy it now and use the sandwich method
Which is
-wash face pat dry wait 5 min
-apply moisturizer wait 3 mins
-apply pea sized tret wait 3 min
-apply moisturizer
My face has only "dried out" ONCE when using this method and it was a tiny bit near my mouth but I applied moisturizer when i saw it and it went away immediately, make sure to use spf moisturizer in the morning bc tret makes skin sensitive, I use CeraVe facial moisturizing lotion 50spf in the morning

use vaseline before applying tret on spots you dont want it to spread that r thin like the under eyes never put vaseline on top of tret itll cause worse burns
