It makes you purge at first a lot, I say build into it. You will fry your skin if you think you can use it everyday.

Overall, after a few months of actually consistently using it I can safely say my skin has gotten a lot better (I also eat healthy, have a good cleanser and moisturizer, and I am active on the daily).

I remember at first, my skin kept breaking out constantly, but it was because the tret was working its magic and doing what a retinoid does at the end of the day.

My rec is start by using it 2-3 times a week ONLY NIGHTTIME, and then build that tolerance. If you use it more often to start out, sandwich it with a moisturizer by making a small thin layer of moisturizer, then tret, and then the same moisturizer again. Be conscious of your eye areas, around your lips, and nose, that shit will peeeeeel. I use 0.1%, but my new prescription is 0.05%, might help me use it daily, I didn't have a choice though, the prescription refill just came like that. If it was up to me I would use the strongest dosage again which is 0.1%.

Thats a good starting point, use it consistently and see how your skin feels about it towards the end of the whole tube being done.

Too much to start out with when your skin has no idea of the retinoid yet might be pretty harmful to your skin gangy.

The only downside is isotret will impact mood, and depending on peoples personal lives and situations, that could be pretty dangerous.

That’s not guaranteed, i’ve been on 20mg for 6 months and genuinely experienced no sides apart from drier skin and lips which has been completely manageable

Honestly if it’s nothing severe, 0.025 should be fine, low enough dose to not ‘surprise’ your skin but enough to tackle mild acne

For sure, but tret has done me well. Among other stuff but my breakouts are not intense so I am pretty satisfied overall

Just start with what you are getting rn, lowest potency.

Your skin is really not that bad, it will surely get better with the correct use of tret among other stuff.
