Ive been using tretinoin for 17 days now I can see some improvement on acne pigmentation but should I add azelaic acid too?

Yes, helps tremendously for keeping melanin at bay if you wanna vampiremax further...

Azelaic acid in the morning. Tretinoin at night. Keep them separate.

Day and night. Bruce Wayne and Batman. Never in the same place.

So if im getting you right, you mean azelaic acid reduces melanin production?

Correct. In theory, azelaic acid inhibits tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production. Therefore, can cause your face to gradually fade excess pigmentation and even out skin tone over time...

Don’t expect a magical transformation overnight. This isn’t one of the Joker’s tricks.

But the case is strong enough. It does make a difference. Worth adding it to the regimen.

Good luck.
