I am 15 years old and my eye area is pretty good but i got purplish skin under my eye because of hollowness. and no it's not because my maxilla is recessed or becausen i am skinny its genetic i have it since a young age. Can i apply tretinoin right on my infraorbital rim? I will get it from the pharmacy tommorow im pretty sure im getting 0,025% I will first only apply it on my skin to see how bad i will react. I don't think i will get strong side effects because i already used adapalene for 12 weeks and duac gel for 4 weeks. Adapalene was bad for the first 4-6 weeks. After that i got the duac gel and I had 0 side effects. (I know adapalane is stronger than duac) I accidently applied adapalene to my eye area on accident in the beginning and it burned like cancer. If you think tretinoine won't work than tell me what will.

don’t put tret under your eyes yet bro. That skin’s super thin and sensitiv and since adapalene already burned like crazy there tret’s just gonna be worse. It won’t fix hollowness or that purple tint anyway that’s more from genetics and thin skin, not something a cream can change. You’re better off using a caffeine eye serum (ex. The Ordinary’s one), keeping the area hella moisturized and always wearing sunscreen. Maybe in the future, when your skin’s ok with tret, you can very lightly try it near the eye, but not now
