I know everyone online will tell you lumps when getting dermal fillers are terrible and they are. Lumps on lips and cheeks look terrible

but they are not necessarily a bad thing for the under eye area..

The gook clinic I visited told me this. Very mild irregularities fullness or soft contours under the eyes can look way more natural than that Instagram air brushed look with no texture and smoothed out look. Overfilling the tear trough sometimes leads to a puffy, "alien" like appearance and sometimes even the Tyndall effect

So their goal isn't always to completely eradicate all shadows or perfectly smooth the area but to actually mimic the natural fat pads with some irregularities left behind especially if your bone structure or fat distribution supports it. Super flat or overcorrected tear troughs look surgical or too perfect especially under lighting. So it's best to have slight and I mean very slight lumps just under the eye for it look good.

That is for eye bags caused by excess skin and fat. Eye fillers are better for volume loss. They both address different things. Eye fillers permanent substitute would be Infraorbital rim implants

Great thread, makes sense now why you see most Korean k pop artists with that certain under eye look.
