As i mentioned in the title you need to basically have atleast raw understanding of the concept fundamentals that you can extend on like systems, topics that you can make connections with each other like a chain of facts that are interlinked making the topics you're studying makes so much more sense and stronger Recall of the knowledge
example: Lion > Mammal > Predator > Africa
now you have a sequence of facts that are interlinked which makes it easier to answer a question that's like
:which of these animals are predator?
you'll connect faster to a lion or similar type of animals

you can break down the facts not just by groups it can be like Timelines,Causal,Results,Categorically,Context
so you can make an educated guess by reconstructing the answers logically by intuition and stock knowledge that are used as "Anchors" or base ideas that can connect to anywhere

so if you even forgot small details you can maybe like connect the answer to the topic of the question and make an educated guess

(ABSTRACT REASONING MATTERS ALOT IN THIS ONE BOYOS)

(THATS JUST A WATER KNOWLEDGE BUT YOU GET WHAT I MEAN FOR AN EXAMPLE)

more lil bit advanced examples like i just experienced today
:*in the listening test i catch up on a few keywords like actions, object, subject, background, etc* for example i heard "Mowing lawn", " forgot to plant flowers", "lunchbreak"*
the question was where did these guys do their work?
a. residence complex
b. office
c. plant shop
d. factory
our brains automatically connect to the closer thing that we know based of broken down sequence of facts in this case
residence complex>house>garden>lawn>mowing>plants>those uhh mexican slaves that cut the gardens, bushes or something (deadass idk what's the job called in English) >rest>lunchbreak so yeah the answer is a. residence complex

Why not C? and here's the next method
ELIMINATION
We eliminate the things that are NOT CONNECTED to the topics or the one that CONTRADICTS IT
have you seen a bunch of workers that do labour in plant shop like mowing lawn? so no (well you might've seen one but that doesn't l right)

Also instead of memorizing the whole textbook you can just do a quick scan review of the core topics, note summaries, definitions/formulas

the point is we want to trigger your memories instead of forcefully memorizing it (also i personalize the things i want to memorize with objects, experience, person, dates, etc. SO ITS LIKE PLACING NOTES IN SOMETHING THAT CAN TRIGGER OUR MEMORY TO RECALL IT)

TEST YOURSELF AFTERWARDS
Do flashcards,do the presentation, visualize the audience, do the speech, talk to yourself in the mirror, interview yourself, ask your friends to test you, ASK AI TO SIMULATE A TEST FOR YOU, ETC THERE'S A LOT OF POSSIBILITIES TO PRACTICE OR TEST YOUR READYNESS IN SHORT TIME it's like doing a puzzle in a short time to just atleast Retent your knowledge, know your weaknesses in some topics, connecting ideas, etc

DURING THE TEST

Imma just make a simple set of rules so you'll have less pressure to think about
1.Answer Instantly if you know it, If you hesitate for 5-12 secs SKIP!
2.Dont SECOND GUESS OR OVERTHINK
(sometimes your first instict is better than panicked and pressured second guess)
3.Eliminate logically if you can't recall
4.Reset your emotions after every question no stress or pressure from . previous ones
5.Control and be aware of TIME
6.now doing the skipped ones use calm thinking...use logics, connecting ideas, educated guess, etc
7.Accept imperfect performances
(in the end all you can do is maximize the next one and move on from the past ones)
