Its a useless surgery if you need width and have short ramus.

Its good for sfs(0,1 procent of all people, and it srill sucks for 90% of the actual sfs too) and thats about it because those people dont have skeletal issues apart from length and height of maxilla. No three dimensional problems

Everyone else needs implants to ascend. Yes implants have real negatives, but since its rhe only good way to replicate good bones there is not much options. It might need a extra few surgeries but thats the price for ascension.

You're forgetting long face and recessed people, I agree though that not everyone needs a trimax; if you're a class 2 and you can get by with a BSSO then do that then because chances are you will fuck yourself with the LF1 if you don't know what your plan is doing

If you plan everything perfectly you won't run into any cosmetic issues, the problem is cost of the surgery and it's ROI as well as any functional problems

Bro just talk to the surgeon about this, as much as I agree, in the end it’s best to talk to multiple surgeons, and not worry about shit like this I guess it’s good to get people into the right direction, but it’s always case dependant.

Why is everyone so obsessed with comparing surgeries as if they are all interchangeable?

“Fat graft vs infra implants”
“Trimax vs jaw implants”

Makes no sense to compare when each procedure addresses & achieves something different. Surgery isn’t as simple as you make it seem, every patient is different and needs to be looked at as an individual case.
