There two ways to define someone's identity. Modern states these days use jus soli (right of soil/ birthplace) or jus sanguinis (right of blood/ ancestry) for legal citizenship.

Like example @imontheloose @optimisticzoomer @Magnus Ironblood are true anglo Saxon gentlemen. They are a proper Britishcel since they are 100% anglo saxon and trace their roots back to the Germanic tribes (Angles, Saxons, Jutes) from the 5th century and onwards. Compare this to someone like @Nectar he might have a British passport, live in the UK, call himself British but if his family arrived in the last few generations, he's part of a diaspora.

Diaspora is all what people will identify him as regardless of whether there's a crowned lion and a chained unicorn on his passport or the Arabic alphabet. Not my opinion just how things are. It also extends to foreign white ethnicities aswell but to a much lesser extent since Germanic people have shared history. Citizenship/nationality can change but identity and ancestry cannot. So before you niggas try to bash, trying to dissociate yourself of the people who come from the same land your grandfather/great grandfathers came from keep this in mind.

That is not the point. Those people distinctly different. But you would care if those people look like you. A nigger from Congo and nigger from kenya won't identify as nigger or care about being a nigger because they are all niggers. He will identity as Congolese, Kenyan first. His nationality comes first before his race. In Europe before mass immigration such rivalries were common. The Irish troubles happened just a few decades ago.

That’s because he looks like an Asian due to severe epicanthic fold and strong hooding. He can be 100% Irish but society will still treat him like an ethnic because of his looks.

Agreed, that is true aswell. A lot of it is based on your looks. A white passing Arab will be treated as a white person if he was western born but there are still invisible barriers that exist. Like he'd have to denounce islam, abandon his culture etc
