True freedom comes from detachment

For a man the primary way in which he is gripped by society is utility. If you dont have utility, you are inherently of no value. A woman of no utility still has the egg which is rarer, hence granting her innate value. A woman is never truely looked at as a loser like a man. Man is cudgeled into doing all sorts of things by manipulating his appeal to be useful. Every single male insecurity comes from not being useful, not being wanted like a tool, not as a sexual object but as a thing. The only way to break this is by letting go of this notion that you need to be useful to others to be worth alive. Your life in of itself has value to you, because you value living. Even mogging is cope. Its inherently attention seeking aka thirsting for validation that you have utility. Freedom is from the burden of being useful, of serving as a tool that is placed upon us as a male. Think of yourself as no better than a worker bee except its true for all spheres. Thats what you are freeing yourself of.

I agree with your general point that detachment is the only way to be free.However mogging is not cope. At the end of the day we are all slaves to our biological desires and no person can be happy if he doesn't fulfil them.

The goal is to be above this. Force the rational to be above the primal. There are very few that can do it, but it is possible

I don't think that someone can overcome his hardwired biological insticts. Do you think you have overcame your primal desires? and if yes how?

I overcame some of them. In the process of overcoming lust. I dont care anymore about money, I am living in very modest accomodation with almost poverty tier spending. My friend is the street dog. I dont really talk to anyone outside of work, so the need for social bonding is also gone

I dont think people can overcome every desire as thats what monks are for. But generally the more detached you are the less stressed out about life you will be.
