By true leftism I mean the leftism of figures like MLK Jr and Malcolm X who were anti-capitalism and anti-imperalism but didn't support feminism, lgbtqz, abortion, degeneracy and all this cultural marxist crap. Today's "leftists" are more concerned about identity politics than improving the lives of the working class and ending imperialism and militarism.

These same people also buy into and support the consumerist system. Show me a socialist and I will show you somebody who buys the latest iPhone every year, has a fully furnished MacBook, blows money on ubereats and spends 0 time or money volunteering or donating to the poor.

They preach equality but cannot accept our society is built from stepping on others. The taxes we pay kill people in the middle east on the other end. Some kid in Asia or Africa got chemical burns for rare earth metals he had to mine for me to have this phone.

Even when leftists themselves get into power they step on others. See what the USSR did to expand their sphere of influence and gain critical resources.
