i agree in theory, but have never seen an actual case of the happy NEET.

I think most neets are unhappy because they still haven’t shook themselves out of the standard human mindset and haven’t really found their purpose.

I think many neets and truecels could be happy if they find something that they can really dedicate their time too. Most neets do literally nothing or never find a hobby or interest they actually put substantial effort into.

Happened to me too brah. I was really smart as a kid, used to get the highest grades in my class regularly. Parents just took it for granted and didn't nurture my talent in any way. No rewards for my hard work or anything. Started getting depressed because of my looks/social life around age 14, grades fell and they started beating and insulting me. Been that way for the last 10 years. Ain't recovered since yakhi. My parents only love me when I'm doing well.
