Trump Admin Considering Giving $10,000 To Each Person In Greenland To Annex The Island

Yes, in my article it states:
"Because the EU's retaliatory tariffs have not gone into effect yet, the EU's reciprocal tariff rate of 20% is being paused"
They are waiting basically. But no deal is being proposed other than the 0/0 they proposed some time ago. I dont think they will negotiate below that except for a few concessions

PIssing me aint achieving anything since I am a gutter animal who will die in his 20s khhv. No one minds his tariffs. They mind his flip flops. That is the issue
I'm talking about the mainstream media and prominent people who attack him. I like how he calls people names.

Ok, I'll play devil's advocate here. Say he's flopping on the tariffs. What else has he flopped on?

He deported less people than Obama did during his first term.

One thing I can think of is the Parkland Shooting. He went for stricter checks and was pretty firm about it. But after NRA pressure he forgot about it and said the same 2nd Ammendment thing. I mean pretty weak for someone who talks big game about going through with his promises. Happened in 2018 if I remember correctly

Well, he asked what Trump had flopped on. I think it's fair to judge him by his first term in office as well.
Both Obama and Biden deported more than Trump in their first term/term.

First term is fair. But this time he has the entire Congress till 2026. The Supreme Court apart from Amy Barrett is his dog. Nothing stopping him. If he fails here then he is a little pussy. Talks big but cant go through with it. Basically how they accuse Biden

Most congressional Republicans are establishment politicians.
They tolerate Trump because he's a winner but this may change if their midterm prospects start looking bleak.

Do you think he might have had a change of heart? And did he say he was going for stricter checks when campaigning for this term?

Anyways, I say it's great. Every free man over the age of 18 in USA should be able to buy and carry firearms. No checks or permits should be required. Should only have to show ID like buying a pack of cigarettes.

They'll be mauled by the cult. But it will be good if we get Reagan era or even Teddy era conservatism era. I know its outdated but still those were some effective terms by Republicans. At least they didnt pander to Soviets

My problem is not the change of heart. It ks the conviction with whoch he speaks and then flops completely. Also the NRA is pretty much know to use its influence to stop checks and balances from being implemented and they influence both parties so it is pretty water tbh

Most will but it won't take many to upend his congressional majority.
Mitch Mconnel voted against Hegseth after all and it was Vance that had the deciding vote on that.

Deporting less people than a guy who did not even run on that issue is diabolical. It literally should be an embarassment

If that happens then the Congress will be interesting. But I dont think it will happen. The mid terms are still a long way away and Trump will realise sooner than later that he needs to win those convincingly. But if the Democrats wins them then it would do away all the good work put in by ground force to helpTrump win

Yes, by watering down his original policy mandate in favor of conventional Republican positions.

Maybe Trump wasn't focused on that so much back then. Biden opened up the flood gates and something had to be done immediately by the time Trump got into office again.

If Trump failing to deport more people than Obama or Biden in a first/single term isn't an issue then it's pure tribalism.

Did you forget that he was obsessed with the wall on the border. Bad argument. He was absolutely focussed on the issue even back then. Did you forget months of the Mexico Wall ?

I mean Trump was calling Mexicans rapists and thieves and calling for wholesale deportations even back then.
To be fair, Trump's second administration is very different to his first.
He was taken by surprise in 2016 and ended up with lots of establishment Republicans running the WH for him.
After 2020, Trump had time to assemble his own team and prepare a proper policy agenda.

Obama ran on economy for fucks sake. He was the successor to 2008. No way he says anything other than the economy. He would have been scrutinised. And a black man saying things like that would mean deserting from his own party

You didn't really purchase the land. You took it by force.
The pretext the Mexican-American war was a flimsy way to realize American manifest destiny.
Northern Mexico was full of Mexicans - the annexed territories were sparsely populated and ideal for settlers from the East.
That's how conquest worked historically. Two countries wanted a piece of land; the mightier country ended up getting the land.

Taco benders are butthurt at the fact their people are historical losers.

And yeah, we purchased the land.

I don't care that the Mexicans were defeated and dominated by the Americans.
And yeah, we purchased the land.
My point is that the US invaded and seized their territory and paid a piddling sum for the land afterwards.
It wasn't to be "nice" to the Mexicans. It was to get Mexican and international legitimacy for the annexation.

We paid a massive amount of money for the land.

Consider the sheer extent of the land (ignore Oregon country):

Mexican Cession - Wikipedia

It was a rip off. Money was paid to make sure annexation had some official legitimacy from the defeated party.

No, it was instigated by the US to satisfy domestic support for Westward expansion.

The money we paid was in the hundreds of millions based on modern day dollars. Even with how large the piece of land is, that's still a lot of money.

I don't deny we were fully eager and willing to go to war for the land. All I'm saying is the taco benders spilled the first blood.

All leaders have had periods where they've learned from mistakes. You're cherry picking for the sake of argument. I'll bet he was planning to mass deport after his second term. Would have caused too many waves and might have cost him a reelection.

One thing's for sure though. He'll more than make up for it this term.
