People think only in recent times America became corrupted but this is false. It’s been corrupted since its very conception.
The real reason Washington turned down being king wasn’t out of some higher morality it was because it undermined the efforts of the revolution. Democracy is the perfect form of government for the merchant class and monarchy is the best form of government for the people.
Plus it was founded on Protestantism, Democracy + Protestantism creates a decadent individualist society with no care for authority.
The constitution and bill of rights are also flawed. Freedom of religion was put in very short sightedly as all Americans were white Christians but they didn’t foresee the future. Freedom of speech shouldn’t exist as it means freedom to spread degeneracy. This is what the left has done to gain power and know that they have it they’re beginning to remove it as they realise the truth.
