Trying leads to the same results as not trying. It’s pointless.

I try: still single, get unmatched, don’t get approached

I don’t try: also still single, gets unmatched, and don’t get approached.

The only difference between trying and not trying. Is that trying is embarrassing because you actually put in the effort for change, made yourself visible on purpose, etc . And the efforts are basically just more failures to add to your life.
