Due to health reasons I can’t take accutane at the moment. Over the past three years and a half I’ve prioritised gut health, tried different antibiotics, creams and products overall. Some have helped and I’ve been able to reduce acne, currently my routine is

Morning

Cerave cleanser
Benzoyl peroxide
Moisturiser
spf

Night

Cerave cleanser
Azelaic acid
Moisturiser

This has helped the most and I’ve increased % for both. But I am just curious if it is good to continue, or a way to fully get rid of acne without accutane, most people I know and see use it now

if this is what works for u then theres no need to ask for advice
skincare is not one size fits all

yeah

and its useless, all roads lead to isotret its so much cheaper and much less work than anything else all the sides are optional aswell
I can’t due to health problems.

Sorry I meant to include that I’m hitting a road block with it and I’m starting to see less improvement

what health problems? i promise you theres always another way
My doctor said my liver enzymes are a bit elevated, so I can’t take accutane. I don’t want to go on a whole spewl about it and at this point I’m ready to take it regardless. If you know a way around then lmk

look into Ursodeoxycholic Acid

your using 2 cleansers (benzoyl and cerave) which is nuking your skin. better to js use a more gentle cleanser. also i would hop on tretinoin which is the closest your gonna get to accutane.

Why not tretinoin. It’s a cream you apply to your face and it’s essentially topical accutane. Dermatologists prescribe it to everyone.

Just use tretinoin at night, it already fits into your routine nothing would have to change and it's a super easy prescription
