Turkic Percentages for Different Parts of Turkey

I'm from Ankara where the avg central asian Turkic dna is 25%. It's weird because I don't look like it at all.

Central Asian dna in Turkey can go up to 40% which is why sometimes I argue that we are of central asian origin and differ from our Middle Eastern neighbors such as Persians and Syrians that lack Turkic dna.

Interesting. I learnt recently I had some turkic dna in me too as my grandmothers side were descendants of a pure Cuman line that mixed with a pure Hungarian line. At some point they did with Avars too. It is interesting how our genetics come back in just a way. I look European but I got thick Asian hair.

Yeah Turkic ancestry is present in the Northern Balkans as well.

Antalya 31%??? Konya 19%? I swear I saw more central Asian looking guys in Istanbul. Even still it's like sub-5% that actually looks it and it's mainly the eyes. I think at 40%+ it makes a difference.

Do you think those Turkic genes do you any favour? Because I just saw those black sea / eastern areas like Rize, Erzurum, Trabzon Gumushane are low - I've spoken to some total foggers from there using Tandem last year.

I'm not sure but I know that Hungarians have Turkic roots and there were other groups like Tatars that came to the Balkans

Hungarians came from the Uralics, same place where Estonians and Fins came from. We did take culture from the Huns and Turkics but we are a different group all together. When we made it into the Carpathian basin, we ended up mixing a lot with the Germans and Slavics. We did mix with the Avars, Cumans and other smaller groups that were already there for a long while. The huns who lived in the basin in the 5th century moved to Bulgaria.

We are the spiritual hiers of Attila the Hun. That is why all the Uralics, Turkics and Huns have relations, we were tribes near each other in the steppes.
